  1.             CHANGE PRINTER CODES AND DISPLAY COLOR HELP SCREEN                 
  2.                                                                               
  3.    Selection I will allow for the change of monitor color from monochrome 
  4.    to color.  In addition, the printer uses specific control codes for the     
  5.    printing of the close, short term average and long term average columns.    
  6.    These indications are as follows:
  7.                                            
  8.               Increase from the previous day  -  Boldface type.                
  9.               Decrease from the previous day  -  Underline.           
  10.               No change from the previous day -  Standard type.                
  11.                                                                                
  12.    The control codes that are currently in the program will work for most      
  13.    printers that are on the market regardless of manufacturer.                 
  14.                                                                                
  15.    Should you find that your printer is not following the above requirement  
  16.    it will be necessary to change these control codes.  This change will       
  17.    require the use of the instruction manual that was supplied with your       
  18.    printer.  Most printer manuals have a very complete section on their        
  19.    control codes but a few do not mention that the Escape decimal code is
  20.    27.  This is the most complicated entry in the entire Stocktrader but
  21.    the process is well documented in the program for easy entry.  Should
  22.    you need help, the user's manual is available from DSF Associates.
